Eli Holman had a reputation coming out of high school.
Talented, but crazy.
Holman was suspended for a year after shoving a referee back at Richmond High (Calif.)
and also grazed by a bullet in a drive-by shooting.
Well, the Indiana freshman big man lived up to it on Thursday, throwing a
tantrum that forced new Hoosiers coach Tom Crean to call the campus police.
Holman came into the office with the intention to transfer.
Holman reportedly threw a potted plant, but was not arrested.
Holman barely played this past season and was eventually redshirted with a wrist injury, but with the thin roster that Crean inherited, he may have been thrust into extensive minutes as a sophomore.
RANDOM NOTES: I'm probably not supposed to do this, but ESPN.com's Chris Low wrote a terrific story yesterday on Tennessee's Chris Lofton and his battle with cancer.
