Tom Herrion has become the latest to withdraw at Marist.
That means that it appears as though Memphis assistant Chucky Martin appears to be the last man standing.
Then again, Marist AD Tim Murray could elect to expand the search. He also interviewed UConn assistant Pat Sellars before reportedly whittling the field down to five - Brett Gunning (Villanova), Robert Burke (Georgetown), Dan Hurley (St. Benedict's), Herrion and Martin.
Martin has spent the last two years under John Calipari at Memphis after working for two at St. John's. Martin also worked for four years under Bruiser Flint - three at Drexel and one at UMass.
Martin is a Bronx native who has strong recruiting ties to the New York area.
