Thanks for saying how unfair this crap is! I wish my story was not true. Our Midgets would be playing tomorrow in the Orange Bowl and kicking North Long Beach's butts! Adults can be some pretty cruel creatures. But this type of treatment from the leaders of the Youth Football Organization is appalling! Oh, and by the way, Commissioners from two other Youth Football Conferences said that their policies punish the adults and NEVER the kids in these types of situations. I'm really trying to get the media to pick up this story. People need to know because it could happen to them, too! You can't crush boys who are 13-15 years old like that and get away clean! This week our Midgets Division of Norwalk Pop Warner was stripped of their opportunity to play for the Division Championship because an illegal player was found on a lower division team. I am the Team Manager and a parent of one of the players. The Commissioner of the Orange Empire Conference nor the President have spoken to us regarding this. We cannot understand how the OEC can punish all the other kids who have worked hard and have clean books. These kids are innocent. I've contacted other Conferences and was told by their Commissioners that they would NEVER punish innocent kids! Please find this situation interesting enough to help us. How can adults simply destroy kids and then expect the parents not to protect their children? Now we have to teach our boys that they can work hard, but the world can just take it away. They've done nothing wrong. If a kids cheats on his test, will the teacher fail the entire class? Please help us share our story!
