while I agree the headbutting, fishhooking, and head stomping should be illegal in fighting, (although completely legal in a REAL fight) simply to keep the fans from watching people get MAIMED for life. But the rounds thing does take the sport from hard core to semi-sissy - also the whole idea of the REF stading up a stalemate on the ground. (neither would happen in a real fight, no ones gonna let you have 2 minutes to rest every 5 you fight, and no ones going to pick the guy off the fop of you so you can have a chance to punch him again. So keep the anti-brutality rules, but get rid of the rounds and fixed positions.

i remember ufc when it first started and although i kind of understand why they changed some of the things the way they did (so it could become a mainstream sport) i would love to see it go back the way it was. 1) one round until someone gets knocked out or taps out 2) fewer rules like they had back then 3) bare knuckle if you wanted to i think the way it is now its becoming too much like boxing. i think only having the one round really tests your endurance and stamina and simulates a more realistic fight. i would appreciate any comments or thoughts on this matter pleas
