If you can get McCann for one of your pitchers not named Grienke or Billingsley, then I say yes, pull the trigger for sure. Those 2 guys are Cy Young candidates this year. Even giving up Lester and Bedard would be a good trade for you. McCann is a difference maker who is worth the risk in my opinion.

what about one of my pitchers for mccann? one of my better pitchers or cano(he has figgins as his second baseman) and another pitcher?

There is no rush for this trade. I would look for other options at catcher. Try to get McCann or V. Martinez, even if you have to give up one of your better outfielders.

He is asking for Victorino. My outfielders are Braun, Quentin, BJ Upton, Victorino and Elsbury. the only catcher i have at the moment is Barajas. available waiver outfielders include. Wells, Pence, Ordonez, so seems like i can spare an outfielder.

No one really knows when he will be called up. I believe he is nursing a minor injury at this point. My guess is that he should be called up within 2 months. What are you being offered for him?

Sounds like you have a great team. If you can get some solid closers you will be in great shape. Also, stay active with waivers because one person's garbage is another person's treasure.

(My Team)Cano, Bedard, Liriano for Hardy, McCann, Lidge.
I have Peavy, Grienke, Billingsley, Lester and then Bedard and Liriano. I have Buck at catcher and Alexi Ramirez at ss. What do you think? Got lots of pitching and need to fill holes.
