Ibanez is the safter pick, while Delgado is a risk. Is he worth the risk? At 38 years old, probably not. Hopefully he surprised me and knocks out 40 homeruns. But realistically, not going to happen. Ibanez is batting 5th for the World Series Champions, so you know he will get his numbers.

 I have liked Delgado ,a lot , since he was a Jay and hate to quit on him now! He may just have a real good season left , yes 35 homers. I also can see the down side , though , so I'm left :confused.

I would have to agree. Delgado is gettin close to 40. I think he is 38 now and last year was probably his last full productive year. I see him getting injured often this year and Delgado owners will be miserable because they expect over 35 homers, which most likely will not happen. Ibanez will get his numbers because the Phillies are probably the best offensive team in baseball.

I, for one, completely agree with you.
Ibanez is going to have a very nice year and Delgado is done.

I'm trading away Delgado for Ibanez, as I think he has a great upside in Philly's lineup. What do you guys think?
