My initial reaction is why either one. But after thinking about it, its a no brainer. Wandy Rodriguez is battling a fingernail issue, while Maholm is the opening day starter and is posting a 0.46 ERA in spring training. Plus, Rodriguez pitches in a hitters' ballpark. Definitely go with Maholm!
