I think the most pressing issue for the Vikes will be at QB since Brett Favre may or may not depart.  The first round pick is going to be a late one, so I say that maybe it's time to trade that pick away and try to get a talented quarterback who is already in the league or a free agent and not hope a draft pick pans out.  It's believed that the Redskins won't resign free agent to be Jason Campbell and he's never really got a chance to develop in Washington under so many different coaches and coordinators.  Even so, his stats aren't that bad.  This season Campbell has thrown for 1870 yards, completed 66% of his passes, thrown 10 touchdowns and 8 interceptions, and has a passer rating of 87.9.  For his career he has thrown 45 touchdowns and 31 interceptions with a passer rating of 81.8. He also set Washington franchise record with 252 pass attempts with out an interception. Looking at Favre's stats this year he's completing 68% of his passes and has thrown 17 touchdowns and 3 interceptions with an amazing 107.5 passer rating.  However Favre's career rating is 86.1.  Now if you give Campbell the time to stay in a system with good coaches, give him the leagues best running back in Adrian Peterson, give him good targets downfield with Sidney Rice, Percy Harvin, Vinsanthe Shiancoe, and Bernard Berrian, put him behind an great offensive line, and put a top ranked defense on the field when he's not out there you just might have found yourself a quarterback.  I realize he's not winning in Washington, but look at the terrible supporting cast.  I'd rather get a guy that knows the NFL than waste a pick on a Tarvaris Jackson or a Matt Leinart or a trade for a career backup in Sage Rosenfels.  If you are able to fix the soon to be quarterback problem then I believe you start working on trying to move up to get a replacement for the aging Pat Williams or get a quality cornerback.

QB can wait until 2011.
Taylor Mayes is the best SS in College. I hope he is around when we pick.

How about the Vikings trade thier 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round for the 1st overall pick? Then we can draft Ndamukong Suh, DT, 6'5 305LB, Nebraska. The Vikings are in need to replace Pat Williams!

Oh, i think Brad Childress will be around. Just because of the talent level on this Viking team.

I don't think Jimmy Clausen will be around when Vikings pick. Clausen is (in my opinion) the best all-around QB in the 2010 draft. Hell be drafted long before the Vikes have a chance to select him.

One more thing i should mention is that In the past, Brad Childress seems to draft great players like Adrian Peterson, Sidney Rice, and Percy Harvin. Those players had an impact on the team right away. I think the Vikings should keep Brad Childress, not as a coach, but as a guy who drafts because he seems to get pretty lucky.

Viking #1: Jimmy Clausen, QB, 6'3 223lb, Notre Dame. -Huge arm strength -Great accuracy in all aspects -Fairly Mobile -Pocket passer -Plays under center and Shotgun -Injury free (Played with injured toe) -Will strike the ball furiously just like Brett Farve being the gunslinger Viking #2: Eric Decker, WR, 6'2 215lb, Minnesota. -Excellent hands -Great body control for his size -Good enough speed -Chain mover -Similiar to Joe Jurivicious -Perfect ahthlete -Very tough

*Make your predictions on who will the Vikings draft in the first two rounds. Let's say they get the 25th or higher pick.
