Injuries and diminishing skills have eroded Parker and other RB abilities to run the ball and until the past 2 games or so Mendenhall has not lived up to expectations. They might be able to get back to running if Mendenhall continues to progress. JMO hehehe
Here is to those that have gone before us and to those serving on the front lines to ensure our freedoms.

Why are the Steelers getting away from their running game, that's what they are.

Boy was I wrong on this one. All week I told anyone who'd listen that the Over was the bet. I thought sure these teams would combine for well over 45 points. Heck, the Steelers' D was the only thing that made it respectable....almost made up for the lame performance from Ben.
Sorry for the bad advice!
Go get 'em, Steelers. Good game, regardless of my stupid betting prediction!

If the game was in Minn I would have a hard time trying to pick this game and they have to lose eventually, this seems like that game. But they are definetly a good enough team to win this game anyway. It should be a good game no matter what the outcome.

The Vikes are one of the better teams in the league right now but...... And no one can deny this, the Steelers are the gold standard, they always seem too rise to the occasion for the big games and I don't expect this one to be any different. Especially at home. I see the Steelers laying it down hard on the Vikes and Favre just having one of those days, not a good one. Steelers 31 Vikes 20
didn't they lay an egg against their division rival,,Cincinatti

Well, what do you know, the line is already past 4.5 in most places, as high as 5.5 points the Steelers are giving. This, of course, has to do with the Vikes' best CB having a sprained foot. Even if he starts, expect a lot of action on his side of the field, where his replacement got torched by Flacco last week.
If Ben puts the ball up a lot thinking he can burn the Vikes' secondary, two things can happen, and both are good for the Over/Under bettor: Lots of yards through the air, with plenty of scoring chances; or, high risk of interception returns.
Either way, with Favre and Ben airing it out the point total looks to go well over 45.
I'm liking the Over much more now.
