Fuji, we did draft a replacement(Robert Brewster) for False Start Flozzell. Unfortunately, he tore his pectoral in training camp and had to be put on IR for the season.

We definitely need to sign/draft some more help for our offensive line. Doug Free and Pat McQuistan have not showed that they're ever going to be able to perform at the "Starter" level.

I repeat what I said earlier,,don't you find it strange that Romo was all smiles after this game saying"if we keep playing like this everything will be OK " ?,,if they keep playing like that they will struggle to be .500

Wolf I like what you are saying. But then you know that 50/50 would be great. I also that all the age we have on D and O has become part of the problem. O line needed some youth this off season. Flozel is at the end of a long career yet no one has been drafted to help. Also I am beginning to think that the big line is more fat than muscle. Some of those penalties are from being beat. You Dumerville in the Denver game looked like he was Bruce Smith pushing our line around.

As for Benet I think he is what he was in hard knocks. A player with no focus and young. The TE coach would tell him tuck in your jersey or at this level you have to work on your routes. Martelus would always say I did it this way in college and that is how I do it.

Most of these issues are the result of coaching. Wade, Jason and Jason's brothers are not fixing the issues. Penalties and picks are the result of sloppy play and bad habits. I think it speaks volumes when you fire Brian Stewart because "he is the issue." Then your D has no picks and does no sacks.

I don't think the Cowboys are a bad team at all, sure they have some problems but I think they will get better as the season goes on. Better play calling is going to have to happen and I believe it will. Don't get me wrong I don't mind one bit how their playing right now but I think people are foolish to right this team off already.

As always, Choice comes through when no one expects him to.

13 penalties, not counting the ones that were declined, is ridiculous. At times, it seems every other down was interrupted by Cowboys' penalty. Sometimes they don't even know where to line up. Mark of an unorganized and undisciplined team.

Where is Marti Bennett?
I'd be frustrated as hell if I was him. Come on Jason, the guy is 6'6" and run a 4.65 40.

On YouTube he seems to care bout making vids then plays on the Gridiron.

Never argue with an idiot; they'll drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience

Run the ball. That is great but our D could not hold any body if we became a run first team. Teams that run have a solid D that forces turnovers or 3 and outs. Dallas has a D that has spurts. We play solid for a couple of drive, quarter or a half then they stop. Case in point a running team will never beat a team like the colts. If they do not force 3 and outs. A passing game can do what a running game can in half the time. But in reality this is a none factor with Jason being pass happy.

We don't even have to take it to the "run first" level. Just parity between the running and passing game would be nice right now. We had 23 designed rushing plays last game and 37 designed passing plays...3 of which were counted as rushes because Tony had to run. That's not parity...much less "run first".

As for the D struggling too much to allow us to keep up with a running offense...a running offense chews up the clock, extends drives and gives the defense more time to rest. When does our D struggle the most? They struggle in the 4th Qtr because they're worn out from being on the field too much. Why are they on the field too much? Because of a) too many 3 and outs from errant Romo passes, b) too many Romo interceptions/fumbles or c) too many dumb penalties on our offensive line trying to pass block against younger, faster defensive players.

More running plays allows the offensive line to play to their strength...run blocking against smaller defensive players. It also should help Flozzell with his false starts because he won't be in such a hurry to get back into pass protection as often. It also slows the pace of the game and allows the defense to get some rest to stay fresh into the 4th Qtr.

Getting the ball out of Romo's hands more is not necessarily a bad thing either.

I'm not saying we need to rush 35 times a game. Just get it closer to 50/50 with the passing game. Run it until someone is stopping it consistently. Right now, Denver was the only team to come close to shutting it down...with only Choice 100% healthy.

Seriously, if Garrett is supposed to be an "offensive genius", why OT to beat a winless KC? WTF?! Did he NOT learn ANYTHING when he was the backup QB in the 90s? Notice I said BACKUP...It looks like he is at best, a BACKUP OC! Get a grip already! Act like you want to win! Play calls that will help you get there!!!!!!!!!!Angry
