I should have said "see you in week 12" for the Ravens game. I think I'm swearing off the Steel boys for betting until they become more consistent. Right now they're an 8-8 team, only because they can't put four quarters together in a single game.

Hopefully we'll see some improvement in the O-line in the next four or five weeks. Doubtful, of course, since they didn't make any strides since last year's uncoordinated effort. They'd be a terror with a line that could block.

Best of luck in the coming week, Burgh fans!

Jus' sayin'.... never bet the point spread, only bet the O/U. It's the only bet that makes sense.

The Baltimore - Cincy game was a lock on the under. That's why I say, if the O/U on Pitt/Baltimore is greater than 40 points, bet the house on the under.

See you next week!

At half time: combined 34 points. Think they'll make it to 44 combined...30 minutes to total 11 more points to cover on the O/U? It's a lock.

Right now it's looking like the spread bet was a bit iffy. That will clarify in the second half, but right now I'm liking my call on the O/U.

Hometown fans need to learn that the spread is not a prediction of the outcome of the game. It's there to balance the betting on both sides. The O/U is the only number that bears any resemblance to reality. It's based to some extent on the actual likelihood of the two teams scoring points. As the season goes along, the O/U becomes an even better bet. Teams become more consistent on both sides of the ball.

Watch the O/U in the Steelers/Ravens game. I'd be surprised if it's higher than 37. If it gets up to 40, bet the under like mad.

The O/U is 44. Get down big time on the over. This could be a huge scoring game.
