Honestly I don't care if you guys can spell and I don't care what players do off the field. I watch football for entertainment and realize that just like the rest of us these are just people that make mistakes. Granted, they are incredibly gifted freaks who play a game for a living, but it doesn't mean they are equally gifted with good morals and common sense. As long as they show up and play I will be continue to watch and enjoy the game I love.

I initially clicked on this site to tell you "you spelled illiterate incorrectly," which you evidently know. However, you also indicated everyone whom responded made typo's or spelled something wrong. I bet that trend changes after I submit my comment (I have an English degree among other achievements).

If you are not an English instructor, or at the very least an editor for a real publication, keep your criticism to yourself. It takes a self-righteous assbasket to spend time on a sports board spewing this bull. They do not even teach handwriting in school much anymore. I did see the irony that fuqua posted about and I agree with the pittfanfrom indy and many of his excellent points. personally I don't mind taking liberties with spelling in such forums, but horrible spelling, punctuation, and grammar are taking away from us as a culture. I will not buy anything from a person or company that doesn't perform due diligence with regards to the aforementioned standards of the English language. I don't normally capitalize most of the words I use while online due to the accepted usage of the internet, but should when it comes to proper nouns as it shows respect for the English language.

The only thing that needs to be read is the number 6! Pittsburgh has 6 championships. Concerning all you haters go look up how many your team has and in most cases your literacy will kick in and the word none will come to mind.
