I am sure Stephen is waiting in the wings for JJ to finally give up his deathgrip on the FB team. Hopefully that day comes soon, but then again, look at Al Davis...

This team has alot of problems and the first is their coach. should have been fired last year! Everyone is quick to blame Romo but it's not all his fault. Cowboys have the weakest group of receivers in the league and JJ is a moron for not going after a high caliber wr, actually they should have tried to get two of them. Next is the play calling, while at times they look good, too often they call the dumbest plays at the worst possible time and stray from the plays that really work for this team. What's with all the reverses and double and triple reverses these past few years that never seem to gain any yards? JJ is too worried about his stadium and making money and being in control than he is about building another great team. Jimmy Johnson basically got him those 3 SB's and Parcells very well could have gotten another but Jerry doesn't like having coaches he can't work like a puppet and that's why Dallas won't be going back to the SB anytime soon. It's going to be another long and very average year for the Cowboys and their fans.

Tommy D not that I do not disagree with you about Tony not being great. But the honest truth is that Jerry runs a circus of an organization. Romo's lack of focus could be caused by how the organization runs. Any coach that has a winning program would not allow Romo to act the way he does with his laid back views. Would the Pats coach allow Romo and crew to be out played. But at the end of the day it is Jerry's team to do with as he pleases.

I'm getting tired of hearing it's only his 3rd year in the league. The guy is 30 years old (I think) and has not got it done in crunch time. Without a doubt he is the most over rated qb in the league. With the running game Dallas has he should have a good year but I don't see the Cowboys getting to the next level with him over center.

Romo may not be at fault for his lack of football drive. You have to blame the coach and owner. Jerry and Wade allow a lot of crap to happen that should not happen. Has anybody chewed Romo's head off for been a bone head. No because by now someone in the media would have said Jerry and Wade are not happy with how Romo is focusing. When Romo got the job he was like all new employees making a good impression and following the rules but now that he has job security like all employees he knows what he can get away with.
