Norv you are almost to the promised land. With the potential development of the Slash and Bash team of Sproles and Tolbert, you can also see that Gates can dominate the short field and drag DB's for 10 yards (as long as #17 throws it down field 50+ yards at least twice before the half). Now lets get down to the last element here: DEFENSE!!!! SD needs to intiminate the QB and put him on the ground at least 20 times a game (either through the sack or the result of play). A QB will not think about throwing it more than 10 yards if his lungs hurt and his ears are ringing. The guys are doing really good right now, but there seems to be a half-step missing when we meet the better teams. Norv go get a DE and a punishing LB that will let the 2010-2011 oposition know that they are in for "Pain" when they come to BOLTVILLE....GURU SPeaks

We need a real center like Neal and a O-line . Then we could make the saints look like the Raiders.

Its the same problem for the last two years. A.J. won't spend the money for someone to rush the passer. #93 is one of the highest paid Chargers on the team. He has 2 sacks in two years. If I had either Shawn lined up on my hip every down I would get to the QB often, hell my grandmother would. Lose your "rotating nose guards" and get a dominating player that will make the entire team rise to the occasion. You have fixed nothing in the streak, #17 has saved your **** Norv and 450 yards of passing in a win is not satisfyingly to anyone especially us fans buying 200.00 per game tickets year after year. We are one prolific pass rusher away from a Super Bowl.

Agree with many here. ?Coach? Turner always looks like he's ordering a pizza when he plugs in lil Sproles on 3rd and Goal and wonders why the little guy gets stuffed by the D. Letting go of stars like Drew Brees, Michael Turner, Donnie Edwards, and even Chris Chambers over in KC now is and will bite us in the butt for several seasons. That whole continuity thing is not working, b/c it doesn't exist anymore. The draft day genius that was building our team is more like a wall street investor. He invests in the draft to watch it grow in other teams.
I am enjoying the re-vamped D. Finally getting after QB's and giving those high sock wearing corners a chance to make plays rather than getting burned is much better. Wish the O-line could gel and let our RB's get moving.
LET'S GO BOLTS!!!

San Diego could always send their team to LA. Maybe things would get better then.
