I have faith in LeBeau! Seems like Woodley and Timmons came to life against the Lions, and Hairstons always ready! With the starting best 4 linebackers in the NFL, we'll be just fine. And by the way the other 7 are'nt fodder either!

It's true that the team is diffrent without Troy, but at least he will be back soon. I have to say the running game has improved, Parker just doen't have it anymore. Like you say the team shouldn't need just one player, but the team is built around it's captians who lead them Troy on def. to Ben on the off., they are the keys to keeping the team going. A repeat can be done, but they have to stay health and mentally strong and stop giving me a damn heart attack every 4 quarter with the other team trying to make a come backs. Like they say a true fan is a fan if they win or loose. Once Troy comes back the def. will be whole again and they can do it.

i agree troy is the heart of the steelers defense...we should be three and o...but noooooooo........we are 1 and 2 and a joke...how can u let the BENGELS beat us?!?!?!?! we had the game won... but no thanks to **** reed mr unreliable ****.......blew 2 games for su...and SWEED that ****, hes in the league 2 years and he sucks?!?!? idk what we were thinking of drafting him last year. 1 and 15...we need palu bad....and ya like what somone else said, you cant always rely on ben to bail us out every single game. he will just get killed in the pocket....whatever happened to that redman guy from preseason??? is he on the practice squad???? we should have signed him. he was awesome in the preseason. parker just doesnt have the jets this season so far. then again teams know that we are a run first pass second..run run pass....same thing every game its obvious. hardly any trick plays "wild cat formation". good grief. with palu we are a different team....and one player shouldnt make a difference. oh well heres to a LOOOOONG SEASON........now i wish i wouldnt have bought stuff for my new steeler room for new house.....WASTE OF MONEY..........

After watching the Steelers/Bears game tonight (I had it recorded on Tivo), I have to say that the intensity was just not the same as when they played the Titans. Troy out hurt pretty badly. The lack of any semblance of on O-line is killing the Steelers. Ben can't do it by himself...and blaming the Running Backs is wrong. Nobody can run in the NFL without an O Line. Could be tough getting back to the Superbowl this year, Steeler fans.

I don't think it mattered whether Troy was in there this week. The drive that led to the missed FG with 3:00 to go showed that the Steelers don't trust the run game. Without an O-line, they're an offense that will live or die on Ben's arm. The missed pass on 3rd and 2 was a poor call and poor execution. It's not Reed's fault they lost. The D allowed the Bears to move right into FG position shortly after. Just not a good offensive game for the Steelers. Cutler played solid. Regroup for next week and remember it's a very long season.

Le Beau knows how to compensate, without a doubt there is no replacing Troy, but Carter ain't no rookie either. We may not rank #1D without him, but we'll be fine.
