then again they havent been racking up too many p****ing td's since then have they? guess the eagles lost the battle but might have won the war against the saints. Physical play against them or bout anybody usually pays off in the end. Guess if Trotter can help stiffen us against the run and our D can raise the bar another notch or two overall we might be set to make a serious run cause I know we've got the horsepower on the O side of the ball.

Ouch, that one hurt. Special teams blew this one imo. You can't give Brees short fields to work with. Kolb was ok but he's no Mcnabb. Momma said they'll be days like this.

man less than 2 hours to go - least theres not as much pressure on the eagles since folks wont be too suprised if kolb cant whip the allmighty saints. funny how folks practically annoint them SB champs after one good game against the poor 0-16 team that will remain nameless in this post.

Well he hasn't been on Sportscenter lately, and that's a good thing. And they don't ever show good highlights of offensive linemen.

His name was hardly mentioned during the game, so yes he did have a good game. Hugh Doughlas, who has been ripping him ever since the Giants game last year said he has improved big time since then playing with alot more aggression. He's a big boy playing with something to prove.

Rototimes.com/NFL says:
Runyan not going to Philly - The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that the Eagles do not plan to sign free agent offensive lineman Jon Runyan. The team has been very impressed with the play of Winston Justice, and they don't feel the need to bring Runyan into the fold. Our View > Justice isn't the most beloved figure in Philly, but the team loves what he has done so far this year. If they weren't confident he could get the job done, Runyan would already be back in the Eagles' locker-room. Look for Runyan to sign elsewhere, with Kansas City and Buffalo both options.

Winston Justice?? The human turnstile? Spin translation: We aren't too comfortable with releasing yet another player from the 53 man roster. We will however give a false vote of confidence to Winston, vaguely disguised, but we merely hope like hell he can step up and play at the level we need him to play. It's a crap shoot that we'll have to live with, for now.

Last I heard Runyan was working out for the bills - wonder whats goin on with him now? Time they figure out how to make a hole for him he might get snatched up by someone else.

Yeah I read they just released Hank Basket to move Vick onto the roster. Runyan might have a year or 2 left in the tank. The problem is cutting anyone to make room for him.
