Hope...How can you have hope with Russell playing and Cable calling the plays? What difference does it make if Chaz plays when Russell couldn't mail him the ball...

Chaz Schilens' hope of returning for Oakland's second game this season came and went. Same story with the third game. Now, it appears as if Schilens won't play Sunday, either. Cable said Schilens made it through some drills Friday, but he is "doubtful" for the game. Schilens still is recovering from a broken bone in his left foot.

Yeah when it counted JR did put it together, but also we can't count on every team to rack up penalties so we can move the ball. I just want to see better ball movement and things progressing smoothly.

don't put too much on the WR's most of it was JR.
JR looked real good on the last drive but that was the only time he looked good.

RDR..SCHILIENS SHOULD BE READY FOR THE TEXANS OR THE GIANTS GAME. I THINK, COACH CABLE SAID THE BRONCOS GAME WOULD BE TOO SOON.

Does anyone know when Chaz Schilens is coming back in, I am sick of looking at the offense struggle and have slow starts this crap is garbage. However I am happy that the Raiders did get to go home with the win.

ABSOLUTELY..CHEESE! THE RAIDERS REALLY NEEDED SCHILIENS LAST NIGHT. I WAS WONDERING IF JAVON W. COULD HAVE CONTRIBUTED. THE RAIDERS DEFENSE..WAS AWESOME..REMINDED ME OF THE GOOD OLD DAYS. LOL!
I AM A LITTLE CONCERNED ABOUT JRUSS. JRUSS HAS A PROBLEM WITH ACCURACY. COACH CABLE..IS VERY POSITIVE ABOUT HIM..THEREFORE..I..AM LOOKING FOR BETTER PERFORMANCES FROM..JRUSS. I BET THE BOLTS HAVE RESPECT FOR THE RAIDERS..NOW. THE CHARGERS REALLY STRUGGLED...LT & MERRIMAN DID NOT CONTRIBUTE MUCH. Could have used him last night, a vet WR(2nd yr or not) coulda have been the differance maker.
No shame in last night's loss refs costed team 4 points, the team played tough,Rookie WR's got that 1st game under thier belts,and LT was held to only 55 yrd. Tons of improvement against the run.
If JR gets things under control I can see the Raiders going 8-8.
