Not sure that would ever happen. If you look at the coaches available, be it Gruden, Cowher, Shanahan, Bellick, Holmgren, and I probably missed one or two, they are all control freaks. I do not see any of the above compatible with Davis. It seems that most, if not all his recent coaches, were easily controlled individuals. Even Schell did not stand up to Al. The only coach I can remember that was strong was Madden. That was so long ago and Al was so much younger, it is hardly worth mentioning. This Cable thing keeps taking weird twists so how it plays out is anyone's guess. I would like to see your team's situation resolve itself so the AFC West becomes relevant up and down the line.
