we all agree J.R. is not an elite QB.
Alot of Broncos fans have been throwing out stats and saying based on stats alone( in wk3 lol ) that the Raiders have no chance.

well here are a few stats for ya to chew on:

J.R. is 1-1 vs the Broncos
with a passer rating of 127.3 ( 73.0% 3 td's and 0 int's )

the Raiders are 50-44 vs the Broncos

the Broncos have only made it into the post-season once since 2001 after starting 2-0 ('03)

I think we need to give JM one more year to start and see what he does. Now that we have JG he can always come in to back-up. 3rd year is the charm. Also JM knows this is his last chance to start. If he's not the man so be it.

with the money J-Russ is getting he should be the starter...why buy the flashy car if your not gonna drive it. On the other hand, if J-Russ isn't "getting it" then there should be no hesitation on letting him ride the bench.

Should the Raiders start Jeff Garcia because he provides the best opportunity to win now? Or be patient and develop Jamarcus Russell?

I think Garcia gives us the chance to win and I am frustrated with the way that the past few seasons have gone so I would rather win now and restore some pride in Oakland. However, this could be out of frustration and it may be better in the long run if the Raiders continue to develop Russell.
