If only the NFL was the way it used to be...i wish i could at least get game film of Butkus and Sayers days. Anyone know where you can buy teams previous seasons on DVD? Not that they would have any of the Butkus Sayers days on DVD...they had arguably the best middle linebacker ever, and the father of modern running backs on the same team, and didnt post a winning season together. Amazing.

ah yes Vince Evans,,but you had to see Bobby Douglass and Bob Avelinni,,they either threw the INT or got thrown around like ragdolls,,and Butkus,,that was the meanest S.O.B of them all Avelinni had 33 TD and 69 INTs in 10 years :D

Iv certainly killed a lot of brain cells...and i luckily have a lot more college to go lol. Luckily trying to remember how many QBs start for my team in one year is enough to try an keep my memory strong. Theres got to be something in Chicago that refuse to let a QB flourish.[/quote] Its called the McCaskeys, MP. Wont spend the bucks. Formerly the Halas'. Always been tight. Bears actually drafted Don Meredith, but Halas only did it to screw the Cowboys out of draft picks because he knew they would pay any price for him. Drafted a HOF qb but didnt want to keep him.

Iv been a Bear fan since 2000....then they did really good in 01 and i got excited and then promptly dissapeared for a while. My dad makes fun of me saying that thats what the Bears always do, they only do good every 20 or so years and then dissapear. Its kinda like that in the NFC North divison though. Every other decade another team has to step up. 50's was clearly the Lions. 60's was the Packers. 70's was the VIkings 80's was the Bears 90's was the Packers and i guess this decade is the Packers too...christ i hate them.
