The NFL Players by virtue of thier salaries and negotiations with ownership have entrenched themselves as Professionals performing a professional career. You live by the sword, you die by the sword. A profession has legal standards and ethics. When you blatantly cross into the line of fire, don't expect the profession to stand up and say, "You have a gift that should be utilized and cherished come back into the profession." If Michael Vick is to receive that wide a bearth of compassion from the profession, then do not expect fans to have higher standards and ethics by virtue of what you do or don't do.

as long as there are teams struggling there will be coaches willing to try anything to get out of the dog house so to say... so surely someone somewhere will be willing to give vick another chance - deserving or not.
only question is will people make a big enough stink about it to the point that they have to let him go before he steps back on the field? political correctness is a disease and there doesnt seem to be a cure for it in sight.

You sound like someone who always uses that,"SECOND CHANCE crap", So you think that this Jerk did not know he was doing anything wrong, that he did not have the education to know right from wrong, and that he was mis-guided into doing this, GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!! And another thing for you people who say' If he was WHITE it would be different', yes it would be, the NAACP would be stepping in against it. Anyone who gives this, I don't even want to call him a person, monster, a second chance, for the benifit of making Money, will not get 1 cent from me.

If i didnt have Peyton leading my offense id definately take vick in a heart beat. The guys pure talent...vick haters are heartless. everyone deserves a second chance and if ricky williams can come back why cant vick ? I think critics look at only the bad and forget all the good and how this guy changed how we view qbs forever, now it pays to have a mobile qb and scouts look for that. not like old days when montana, young and aikmen could do it all from the pocket because defenses have become incredibly faster and more agile. somethin to think about. GO COLTS

Who cares about Michael Vick, you're living in the past...he is a RB trapped in a QB's body, and he still isnt a good one at that. The guy can't pass, there is a wrecthed stigma about him. Ever since VT days when he couldn't beat Florida St. he has been overrated...get some vicious rotweilers and I'm sure he is there, but not football...not anymore anyway[/quote]

yea I play some franchise mode on madden and find it pretty hilarious how vick always manages to get 200 passing yards a game and 150 rushing every game.....then after a year or two the falcons are goin deep into the playoffs....lmao same with vince young!

I don't think he will come back. Vick sucks anyway who will sign him? He is a great video game qb though. lol
