MidniteCowboy , I think you need to get over it. Put in any average QB, (Brady) in NE's O-line and you'll get results.
So many people are blinded by the shiney SB rings.
People like you use Brady and the Pattys as a safety net to appear like you know anything about football. It's a safe arguement because you can always jingle the 3 SB rings in your pocket.
Keep in mind all 3 SB wins were by no means a domination; all 3 wins were by a FG. By the way, I have forgiven John Kasay for the out of bounds which practically handed NE the SB win.

That's cute panther, however, I'm no fan of Brady or the Patriots. It's simply laughable how haters like yourself say that with ______________ (insert quarterback) that the Patriots would have accomplished the same records. That ANY average Joe would instantly become one of the greatest QB's of all-time. No experience, judgment, mental skills, arm strength or anything special is needed. Any ole average qb could do it? Simply laughable.
It's really amazing how the offensive line can fight off being sacked while checking down receivers, then, on the run, hang it out in the air 55 yards for a precision TD pass. Incredible offensive line, no doubt. I'm most impressed by the offensive line's arm strength and precision passing ability.
If Tom Brady played in Jacksonville, behind that line, the Jags would be racking up skins on the wall. If David Garrard was QB in Boston, the Patriots would be very good, but would also be a franchise QB away from being a dynasty.
I'm a Dallas fan and I cheered the Giants on in the last Super Bowl, due mostly to finding Belichick a despicable person. Still, I have no problem giving credit where it's due. If you'd bring rationality into the thinking process, you'll become comfortable with the fact that you can dislike someone, and still give them recognition and props for their accomplishments.
Dallas has one of the very best offensive lines in the league. Why didn't Bledsoe turn out to be All-World? If the superior offensive line and receivers get's the credit, why did Romo, after losing Larry Allen - the best offensive guard to ever play the game - and losing Terry Glen, the team's Pro Bowl #1 receiver, break long standing Cowboys records on the way to a 13-3 season after his first full season as a starter?
Because he's a very good QB, and Bledsoe was very average. Your "average qb can do it" argument is just silly. A good line gives a qb TIME to do what they CAN do, for better or for worse. A great offensive line is a luxury. Having a great QB behind them is a dynasty.

tar heels - Since Brady is the best QB since Montana, and has multiple Super Bowl rings, as well as NFL records to prove it, please explain what's overrated.
Was it his 117.2 passer rating last season(best in NFL)?
Was it the 50 TD passes last season (NFL record)?
Was it completing 68.9 % of his passes (best in NFL)?
Was it having 12 games last season with at least 3 TD passes?
Was it being named NFL MVP?
There is a nationwide panel of 50 members who select the NFL's Most Valuable Player. Brady was voted number 1 by 49 of those 50 members. Overrated?? You continue to look silly, wherever you post this nonsense message.
