This Coach/GM start with the players (B. Waters, etc.) isn't positive at all for the Chiefs. Of all concerns and making some want a trade, why is the Larry Johnson issue being ignored. I really don't feel very confident about where the Chiefs Club is heading. Looks serious to me what may be happening.

Sorry guys but I think you are going to have some fun with Haley, all reports I have read say he is an arrogant in your face coach and that does not work well at the HC spot, he got away with it as a O-Coord. but most of his guys hated him and were happy to see him leave.

I do not agree that football is just a business, these guys all have a lot of pride and once you disrespect them they do not forget. This is actually what causes issues with team chemistry and if you do not get it together all the great business moves will not bring you a trophy.

He should have spoke with the man - period.

i think it was wrong not to talk to waters. but just like cutler, this is a business, really not a sport anymore. its more about money then playing football. stop whining and finish your contract

I read that too. I haven't heard anything else on it, so I hope everything was cleared up. I can't imagine a new coach and GM NOT wanting to meet with veteran players. If I was in Haley's or Pioli's position, I'd want input especially from veteran players. These are the guys who have been through the ups and downs and could get the rest of the team on the same page with new management.

I read an Article the other day about Brain Waters wanting to have a sit down with new coach Todd Haley and GM Scott Pioli. Apparently, "Kansas City Chiefs all pro guard Brian Waters has asked the team to release or trade him according to the Kansas City Star. Waters met with new head coach Todd Haley but GM Scott Pioli wasn't interested in meeting with the 9 year veteran. Waters, according to the source, was offended and shocked by the arrogance of Haley and Pioli. Waters
