Oh sure we should have left thiggy at QB top 5 draft picks are so much better than making the PLAYOFFS. Give me a Break. Next thing you know you all will want Herm and King Carl back. You all better be thankful that the Chiefs went and got Cassel. Now we have a QB to build this franchise around. It all starts with the QB. Now we go get another WR to go with Bowe and a RB who wants to play and not be a complete IDIOT and maybe this team will see the playoffs again

Why did the Chiefs take Cassell? He did well but that was with the Pats. Come on KC, your not in the same league as the Pats. You got a boatload of draft picks and you can't find a QB you like? I'm sorry Chiefs fans but your front office is starting to look like a Lions clone. Herm was never an answer. Nice guy but no head coach. Even the Jets figured that out. The only thing I can say is I hope Cassell works out and LJ finally shuts up and plays. He is becoming a T.O. and that is not a distraction any locker room needs. Good luck KC.

i agree thigpen needs one more year to prove he is a starter or not. last year he was thrown into the postion. he did prove himself in the tb game. i mean any other qbs ever catch a ball for a thouchdown last year other them him? he is a good qb just needs a season where he isn't thrown into the starter spot. i know cassel was but he had 15 weaks as a starter not 6.

I mean no disrespect......Why in the hell do we go after Matt Cassell? Yes he had a good year. But lets stop and think about this. They had 2 ALL-UNVIERSE RECEIVERS. And he take the reins of a team that went 16-0 the year before. Please he had an awesome coach in Bill. I have to say NO to Cassell. I say we give Thigpen another chance to win the job. If he can't do it then you draft either McCoy or Bradford next year to run the show.

the three guys you mentioned have all been taged, and we can't afford to give up 2 1st round picks. I think we stick with thigpen and draft curry at #3. I like Pat White from WV simply because of his versatility, not necessarily his QB skills. If Haley brings some of Wisenhunt's trickery with him, then White will be a huge factor if we get him. another option would be to trade back into the 1st round and pick up a DE like Orkapo if he is still available late round (25+). our o-line wasn't overly bad last year; look at Charles' ypc. I think we may be able to get a decent pick (2nd or 3rd round) for LJ which should help out alot

If the chiefs get Matt Cassel, Julius Peppers, and Karlos Dansby. They'll probably get Crabbtree in first round, if not Aaron Curry to pair up with Johnson and Dansby.
