I recommend they sign a stud off/def lineman or linebacker; let Johnson go, and select Aaron Curry or Michael Crabtree with #3. But don't pick a QB; wait til next year.

Drafting a qb with a top 5 pick, especially a 3, will cost a fortune. You dont want to take a qb there unless he is the highest rated guy coming out of college and you believe he will lead you to SB's. Otherwise you spend too much. By numbers, Sanchez was rated about 6 in college. There may not be any qbs go in the first round this year, and if they do, they will be overpaid. Check the free agent market first, there's some guys to be picked up. Now if Haley could land Warner, thats quite a coup, but he doesn't have long left and you'd need to be grooming someone right away.

I'd say never draft a USC quarterback. You can't go by USC's record because of their division and their pretty good defense. Sanchez could be a third rounder for Detroit. Keep TT and get rid of LJ. Beef up the OL an DL

you've gotta stay with Thigpen after the season he had last year. Ya, he was 1-whatever but that was because his d sucked. i say we draft d-line to improve the league-worst pass-rush we had last season. and thank god the tampa 2 is gone, so our safetys can actually step up and play football

CFN have the Chiefs taking him at #3. I have to say i would agree with that pick. But I also think we need to sign a good free agent QB with so experience to bring him along
