I guess you said it all. Trying to hit a wide open Devin (I'm an uindersized CB trying to be a WR because my team has ZERO WR talent and cant seem to get open on anything by a 9 route) Hester.

But I'm sure that being a BRONCO fan, you've undoubtedly seen EVERY Bears game to disprove that. What was I thinking.

coach

have you seen him in mini camp so far?? he cant even hit uncovered recievers in stride.. simms is already starting to take over and were only in june! im sure the kool aid your drinking isnt from ANYONE whos watched him play...i watched EVERY chicago game the last 5 years and when hes played he cant even hit a wide open hester without any QB pressure....research before you spout??? watch some games...

the bronco franchise does not lose...how many losing seasons have we had the last 15-20 years? this franchise has been one of the top teams in the league as far as winning, class, players, city, fans, front office, etc etc....this offseason has been the EXACT OPPOSITE of what this franchise is all about and how it is run...

im a DENVER BRONCO FAN.....not a DENVER BRONCTRIOT fan...

Has anyone ever actually watched film on Orton? if you have then you'd know the kid has a MUCH stronger arm than what many like to say he does. When you think of Orton in a spread offense, think of a taller Drew Bress with a stronger arm. Don't be surprised if he throws for 4000 this year with guys like Marshall and Royal to throw to and Moreno running behind a stud line.

Research things before you spout off about them.

I agree with many of the points made and as a long time Bronco fan this is definately one of the scariest times in our history. However no matter what happens I will support the Broncos and watch every game of the season like I have since I was 9 years old and go in believing the Broncos will win the game no matter who they are playing. You can call me an optimist but when it comes to the teams I love I will always watch and root for them whether they are in first place or last place. I will save my judgments for when the season is over and I think all true Broncos fans should give McDaniels a chance and see what he can do this season. Go Broncos.

i have to agree with the accused "fair weather fan".....just because we dont like watching the broncos get run into the ground doesnt mean we are fair weather...being a REALISTIC fan and a fan with their heads on cloud 9 are both still "fans"...the entire offseason has been a joke and has cause LONG TERM disaster for denver...mini camp looks ridiculous...not one rookie looks good..i dont mind being called any kind of fan just cause i dont agree with the broncos being destroyed to fit one egomaniacs coaching philosophy....games arent just won DURING THE SEASON....OFFSEASON IS JUST AS IMPORTANT....and this offseason is an F-....what moves have been good? goodman and martindale...thats it..

what people fail to see is going from a playoff caliber team that needs some defensive changes to a team totally blown up and overhauled just to fit a coaches ego...that spells disaster...

and as far as fairweather fans? we can say the ones cheering for cutler winning games BY HIMSELF and defending his skills all last season were the same ones saying he sucked in march??? doesnt that count as a fair weather fan? look at oakland fans...their entire pages are full of positive in the offseason and full of negative during the regular season.. pointing out OBVIOUS critical mistakes that even a non football fan can see is not being a fairweather fan...leaving the team for some other team is...

You can call me a fair weather fan all you like. I'm not jumping ship. I am a Broncos fan and will continue to be one through the thick and the thin. If everyone here would like to wear the rose tinted glasses. More power to you. Like I said I waited months before posting about McDaniels. The Cutler deal was bogus! The Draft was a Joke! Anyway you look at it the Hire, the Trade, the Draft, all are going to haunt this team for years! If they still had Cutler, and focused their draft on the defense. They would be looking at making a playoff run. Instead they are going to struggle to win 6 games this year. I hate what this team has become. They have talent, But, the talent is in the wrong Areas. Brandon Marshall is one of the top 3 WR's in the league. But, Who's going to throw him the ball? Simms and Orton both have below average arms. And won't be able to get the ball in tight spots. Granted they should have a very good running game. But that will only get you so far. Just ask Minnesota where the great running game got them with no QB. Now for the Defense. We have Champ, Dawkins, and Williams. ALL three of them are going to need a pass rush to make them effective. They are switching to the 3-4. And yet they have no true NT. Look at the teams that have made this system work. The one that they ALL have in common is the a NT that can take on two man and still get pressure. And then we have Williams moving from outside LB to the Inside. They does not fair well for him. DJ is a fast sideline to sideline LB. Moving him inside is going to hurt his game. He's not the bulldog get dirty hitting the RB type LB. Like a Ray Lewis. If they would move him outside he should be able to get constant pressure on the QB. Look I know everyone is trying to look at the glass half full. But, the fact of the matter is McDaniels is going to prove to be another one of bills boys who is great at alienating the players and the fans. It was the hoody that made Brady and the Patriots what they are. Look at every other coach that has left N.E. ManGenius was run out of New York. Crennell was a joke in Cleveland. Weis has turn Notre Dame into a Pop Warner team. Every coach that has come out of the New England system has struggled. Hell, I hope I'm wrong and the Broncos go 13-3 and win the Super Bowl. Nothing would make me happier. I just think that McDaniels has lost the respect of the players and alot of fans. And we are in for a hell of a ride. If you would like to drink the kool aid that McDaniels is giving everyone. More power too you. As for me I'll sit back and hope I'm wrong about the whole mess.

I've been a Bronco fan since the '70's thru the good times and the bad. I'll remain a Bronco fan because that's what fans should do. Support their team whether they agree or not with how things are run. I didn't like the whole Elway thing when it happened but look how that turned out. Anyway....GO BRONCOS!!
