Right now, after the draft, I'm watching the water in the porcelin bowl go round and round and round. McDimwit addressed the defensive problems first by shafting Cutler and then fixing the Defense by drafting an RB and a project in the first round Then trades of the first round next year to get a second rounder in this years draft and drafts another less than adequate project boy. No guaranteed starters in the whole bunch except Moreno. FA? Re-treads and the walking wounded. I guess McDimwit is assuming that we'll get the first round pick back next year when we finish Last in the NFL this year. Clever plan!!!!!!!

Orton is a bad QB period. Heck he could not even beat out grossman. Look to be third in the division this year.

I feel bad that Elvis has lost all hope. I have a different take. I think Orton will be a better teammate than Cutler and may fit better with the new offensive scheme. Even had Cutler stayed, the team must learn a new scheme and that takes time. I know some people did not want Shanny or Cutler to go. This offense had a QB with a ton of yards. Not much else. Yards do not translate to wins or championships Ask Dan Marino. I grew tired of Cutler and Shanny both. The Broncos had grown complacent. I'm a fan for the long haul. Because of the extra draft picks and Free Agency, this team will be a contender sooner, rather than later. I agree that McDaniels has made some mistakes. That happens with a young coach who is hopefully learning that the fans will not accept games that NE played. He will be held to high expectations. Many people are saying Denver will not win next year. We need to hold in reserve that judgement until after the draft which has to be defensive heavy. We'll see from there. I watched Orton last year and I have hope. With Simms, who apparently fixed some mechanic issues, they should push each other. Competition is good.

McDaniels is a two year disappointment in the making. The owner must be drinking from the Al Davis coffee cup collection. All the woes coming the way of the Broncos are the result of an owner that is losing his grip. Orton? Are you kidding me!! Sims would be a better choice than that flake.

jared but draft picks are long term solutions....all bowlen and McDouschel keeps shoving down our throats are "win now" slogans.....draft picks are crap shoots sometimes you get lucky but a lot of times you get nothing out of them.....cutler was a sure thing.... this whole "the player" crap shows zero respect for anyone but himself.....he needs to quit trying to be like belichick with the hoodie too....hes NO belichick and wont ever be....dont be surprised if they use BOTH picks to get sanchez...if that happens it will set us back 4 more years in rebuilding mode...
