somebody may have said this in one of their rambling novels up there, but I don't think someone's "football performance" should have ANYTHING to do with what kind of a citizen they are.

Why the "#####"
You can't say "Lynch"?
It's a proper name, for god's sake!

well rusty0812 honestly sapp isnt what the reporters make him out to be. yea you may hear that sapp is an ass off the field and a great teamate on the field. but honestly who will you believe. take into consideration all of the smack that gets talked to players amongst other players and off the field by civilians like me and you and every other person who says something about another team or a player. not all you hear bad about warren is bad not all is good ill be the first to admit it but it comes down to it. warren showed his dedication to his team and his former nfl players. he does deserve to be in the HOF for many reasons. when he was a bucc he was a phenomial buc. great speed off the line and great power when he struck an opposing player.
also to top it off when him and brooks would break the line on a blitz when he would juke through the oline and push the defending FB over and nail the qb with teh force he did when he got slowed was amazing. also when he went to oakland yes oakland the team we DOMINATED in the bowl he was teamed with the next biggest lineman in the game big ted washington. and when they both broke the line time after time hammering anyone with the ball was amazing. you dont see that oftain. hence why sapp and washington were named the enforcers. they did amazing. but as it goes for sapp retiring as a bucc i agree. sapp was a good bucc if not the best lineman for a bucc in the past years YEARS. the way he got along with all the players on and off field was great. not many players in the nfl can do that
also as it goes for the big man, ppl doggin him sayin hes full of crap and washed up no good they are just jealous and you cant say if you were a big star like that gettin hammered every day by the tabloids and media you wouldnt respond with some shit not thinking. its the pressure bro. maybe you should just not say a word and look at the facts before you open your mouth just like any other ungrateful fan who likes to say shit like that.
all fans can say when someone goes to a rival team its all for the money. all they can say is oo wow look at that guy he was with a team and bailed bc hes no good and got greedy, take a hard look behind the media and all the talk behind his move to oakland. im not goin to say it you can research it and then realize for your self that all you can do is be a follower and believe what other ppl have to say other than that maybe you should just shut it and not say aword and just watch from the sideline like all the other pricks that try to talk football but cant.
so for future refference if your goin to say a great lineman like sapp doesnt belong in the superbowl maybe you should just be a bandwagganer and jump on and cheer for the pats and the yankees ok.. bc honestly if your saying someone with that great of knowledge and determination and loyalty to a team to practice WHILE HURT AND go out everyday and risk SEVERE INJURY like he did when he was a hurrican and a BUCC you dont know shit. take a look at how he was and what he did. enough said learn to read more in depth of football and beyond its media before you talk shit about another player or fan and say they dont know shit. sapp was and always will be a bucc for life no matter what happens and should come back to retire as a bucc.. look at dunn. once a bucc went to atlanta and then came back. dunn 33 is done after this season and look what hes doing. hes not the best back or teh worst back hes a good back knows his shit and how to push for his size and hes finishin off his season as a bucc and a bucc only. hes done after this year.
all in all sapp is one of the greats and will always be remembered for his hard hits and loyalty to the teams. go back when he joined the buccs straight out of miami canes and look at his injuries and see how many games he played. he also played for i believe it was 3 weeks ina row with a concussion just out of college when drafted and still showed up to practice in uniform and in games on the sideline in uniform. and gruden admired that when he took over coach. sapp wi

I'm not a big fan of Warren Sapp, but I do agree that he should retire a Buc. He did play a big part in the Bucs getting to the SuperBowl. A lot of times he would get the sack or draw two or more of the offensive line on him giving someone else a chance to make the sack.
