quedog46]People are not "BEATING A DEAD HORSE," they are "BEATING A BLACK DEAD
HORSE," which bigots can't get enough of. Michael Vick has been condemned
in the worst way. Phil Spector is strongly suspected and on trial for putting
a gun in the mouth of a woman and blowing her head off. You barely see anything on the news about the brutality of this. If Phil Spector was black, he would be talked about and condemned like Vick is. I'm 61 and I knew of dogfighting
when I was 8. Mike Vick is the only person that I know of who has received
this kind of condemnation for it. Why? Because the majority of participants have
been whites. Thus, PETA, local police officials and the feds have "buried their
heads in the sand," for all these years waiting for a Michael Vick, so they can
beat up a rich black professional athlete and promote themselves and their
organizations as well. Make no mistake, I'm not advocating that Vick should not
be punished for his crimes but he should not be made a poster child while countless others escape without a scratch. I want to give these people and organizations a heads up. Cockfighting is illegal and happening in America. But
nothing will be done until a prominent black or other minority is caught participating,
Right?

You are saying the majority of dogfighting participants have been white? Then why did vick and his supporters try to claim that doggfighting was a "cultural" wrote:

You claim the white man has been waiting all these years for a Michael Vick event. Well that is a wrong statement from the beginning. The Police Chief and the D.A. of Surry County, who obtained the search warrant and did the investigating are both black men. That's a distasteful bit of reality huh? Vick has some serious social and psychological issues.

I guess it's easier for you to just play the race card than to admit that any guilt applies to Vick. As for Spector, he doesn't have the face recognition to keep America's short attention span. What about the Robert Blake murder trial? It was all over the news night and day for months, even though he was a star back in the 70's. Look at Paris Hilton. She gets a DWI and it's world-wide news. Her trial and sentencing phase was a 24 hour a day news story. Her crying ride in the back of a police car was shown more than O.J.'s infamous White Bronco ride. People from around the world couldn't get enough of it. Celebrities on the wrong side of the law have always sold papers and made for glorified headlines. The average person cannot pick Spector out of a line-up.

Vick wasn't killing for any purpose other than the pure fun of it. Hanging, electrocution,
drowning, strangling? None of those are "honest mistakes" and none of those are practical choices unless you are looking to get a twisted high. What sickens people is the disgusting, barbaric & hideous person that he was on the dark side of life, away from the public eye. He took being a cruel, inhumane heartless psychotic person to a whole new level.

Yes, Finneran has a blow gasket again, and he's out of the race for the second year. This might be it for him.

That's a real shame. He was always so deceptively fast, and a real fan favorite

Yes, and my main man D.J. Shockley is out for the season as well, I was lookimg for him to beat out Joey. He's faster, and can scramble when he's in trouble.
Let's face it, Im a home-town favorite when it comes to my wrote:

I'm just saying to them, let it go, let's move on from all of that stuff, because we have a new coach, and the whole Falcons team to watch this season. You want to talk about Petrino, and the rest of the team, hey I'm all for that. Look out for Norwood to have a great year, and Joey Harrington to look real good because someone is going to catch a lot more balls than he is used to having. That might build up his confidence, and do better with us. I'm looking at a 10-6 season and a wildcard.

chris1chris]The Falcons team has been there before Michael Vick and his MAMA, and them dogs, and they're going to be there way after they are long gone. I'm just simply saying , GET OVER IT PEOPLE! I'm stil a die hard Atlanta Falcons fan!

All I'm saying is lead by example rather than continuing to talk about Vick yourself. Yap some about Training camp or anything else. What do you think they'll do this year? I don wrote:

All I know is what you think about Vick, so drop the jibber jabber and make with the Petrino talk if that's what you really want to do.
