I hate to break this to you, but it really wasn't.

Didnt ask for your opinion, but while we r discussing the matter, what dont you agree with.

I'll address that in one of the other dozen odd places you posted this. My primary issue with this particular iteration is that you have slapped it everywhere as if you have produced Martin Luther's 95 Thesis, when what you have produced is a hackneyed response to the Vick case (and, since you slapped it all over a message board, asking for others opinion is kind of implied)

Thats exactly what I wanted, your opinion fudge_ wrote:

I am not racist, but I feel like sometimes, being born and raised in the south and having parents that went through segregation, I find myself saying or thinking thoughts that could be considered racist if herd by the wrong person. Kinda like what happened to Imis.

To be a white person in America talking about the black experience in America, through slavery, it's just not going to come out right! Now John Griffin Howard"s book " BLACK LIKE ME'" now here's a white man that went through the changes to see for himself what it's like being black in America. I can fully respect this man.
But you, what the H^@# are you trying to say. Because that's a whole lot of JIBBERISH you writing. PLEASE don't try it no more. We'll get all off the subject of sports, because that's what's this blog is, sports blog, and we will get into something that you never intended to get into. That's if you didn't want to get into a dialog like that!

After reading some of the quotes made by the NAACP that are posted on foxsports.com, I have, after much thought and consideration, come to the following conclusion. Please understand this before you read my "rant"! I am not a doctor nor am I a psychiatrist but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn last night! Just having a little fun at the NAACP's expense! LOL!

Every time the N.A.A.C.P. (National Association of Always Complaining People) releases a statement related to the Vick case, or any other case for that matter, it is immediately apparent that they are the reason why racism will never go away in this country! The organization is no different than the "KKK". OK, I admit that there is one difference, the suit they wear will be a bit more accepted at your local civil rights activist gathering than the old white hood!
So, no need to cast stones or bad mouth this group of people, instead just sit back and let them talk, they will say all that needs to be said about who they are and what they stand for or against every time they open their mouth.
How much do you think Vick had to donate to the NAACP (based on some of the comments made recently, the name may change to include the letter H, NAACHP, referring to growing illegal immigrant population that they now have elected to disgrace, I mean protect) to have them support him? What? You didn't think that they were a non-profit organization now did you?
The only time you hear from these people is when a powerful ($) African-American figure is being judged by all us evil white folks. After all, they only want whitie to give them what we owe them for all the years of slavery and torture. How would they like that debt payed? Could each white household in America make monthly installments to the NAACHP? If this would help reduce the amount of debt (racism) in America, I would be happy to pay my part. There lies the problem, how to figure out what each family would owe! Do we trace back our family name to a time when slavery was a way of life in the south? That brings up another question, would geographical location exclude families that might not have owned any slaves? What about families that owned more slaves than another, do they pay more?
I think I have made my point, and believe it or not, it had nothing to do with slavery! I can only hope that after reading my rant that you are as confused and irritated as I am every time I read a quote from one of those people whom seem to "NEED" racism in this country! They need it to not only remain but to grow, just so they may profit. Profit, from the hate that they say they stand against. Who could ever forget the wrong that was done by our distant relatives if we must be reminded of it everyday!?!? Slavery ended long before I was born, but racism and racist people still remain. The blame should end, it must end in order to create a united and equal nation.
Good night to all, and to all a good night!
