There is a part of me that simply wants to dismiss the ignorant statements and obvious fiction he has written. He is poking fun at an easy target to gain attention for himself. Unfortunately, it worked. I hate to fuel the fire as it brings more attention to this hack.
However, I am also offended to my core by these immature rantings. Moonshine? Please. I grew up in Georgetown; I have my masters, I am well-traveled and well-read. I am immensely proud of my little hometown and the people who live there. I do not consider myself to be a "hillbilly" in any sense of the word. The residents of Georgetown (and all of Kentucky, for that matter) are gracious and friendly. They have class. A little southern charm may leak through into our speech, but it should not be mistaken for ignorance or lack of education.
It is unfortunate that the negative stereotypes about Kentucky persist in mainstream media. When is the last time any of you remember something positive being written about us? He merely pulled some of those stereotypes into his "story." I certainly hope that anyone who reads it can see it for what it truly is: a poorly written piece by someone who had a deadline and not an iota of talent or enough subject matter with which to write that piece. So he used hateful speech as filler.
It is disappointing that foxsports published this nonsense. Ratings mean money and money talks. Is this person really so important to foxsports that they want to keep him around? Is he truly that entertaining? I think not. Let's kick him and foxsports where it hurts. The good people of Georgetown and all of Kentucky deserve better. The so-called apology is not accepted.

I'm with you brother. It's a shame that half-wit glazer spent so little time analyzing the Bengals and so much time lying about his visit. My gut feeling is he laid up drunk somewhere and couldn't bring his frail yankee butt out into the heat where real men work and thrive. By the tone of the article, he owes FOX a bunch of money. He spent way more time staying loaded than he did at the Bengals camp.
I say we ban the pompous cretin, or at least make his next visit extremely uncomfortable.
