You can't seriously begin to discuss Marvin Lewis's job security. With him the Bengals have been taken seriously and are now considered contenders year in and year out.
I was not happy with this years outcome either, but I am still satisfied that they went 8-8. If you're not then maybe you should take a stroll down memory lane and remember the days of coach Dave Shula, and our dismal 3-13 seasons. A time when we were known only as the BUNGELS, and got more put down on TV than the Buccaneers did.

We may have not made the playoffs in football or baseball, but at least they are IN the hunt. That's more than what the previous 15 seasons can say.

Have Marvin Lewis replaced?? Not a chance. Give it time. It'll happen.

From the Reds this past season being in the playoff hunt until the last month just to choke down the stretch, to this or last seasons Bengals. Both of the city's teams know how to build hope with their fans, just to DISAPPOINT them. When will these two franchises get their acts together? I don't see any help coming in the near future. Should we start disussing Marvin Lewis' job security in Cincinnati? When will Griffey stop getting injured? Does anyone care?
