And last year everyone said that Matt Ryan would fail in Atlanta because he had the worst of all situations, a new coach after the old coach bailed on them, the Mike Vick situation, no offensive help ect, ect, ad nauseum - EXCEPT that the QB displayed talent, good judgement, and good leadership - That is somthing that Campbell has not displayed -[/quote] You act as if ryan single-handedly took the falcons to the POs. don't get me wrong, I think ryan will be a good QB, but it helps having a OL that stayed healthy all year (unlike the Skins). A competent K (unlike the Skins). A run game that was effective after wk. 8 (unlike the Skins). Not having to play 6 division games vs TOP-10 Ds (unlike the Skins). More than 1 playmaker: White, douglas, norwood, turner (unlike the Skins: Moss). Take all that into when comparing ryan and Jason Campbell. BTW, ryan had 2 more TDs, and TWICE as many INTs than JC!

Actually Atlanta has drafted an offensive line youth movement, with an average age of 26 yrs old on the O line. A lot of young aggressive non-fat-cats out to make a name for themselves. Skins O line is on IR half-way thru the season.

Lets just stop the music with Jason Campbell if you will, Jason has never been given a fair chance to settle down in his position. The change of coaches, the change of Offensive coodrinators, never a solid offensive line. questionable receivers except Moss & Cooley. Look at New York (Giants) Eli still struggles, yes he has a ring but he has a Line and consistancy. Jason is the Victim here of Bad inhouse football management. I would like Jason to Stay in Washington to develop his skills. He is a low key guy, with a big arm but without consistancy in the game plan. This is not about Jason really, this is about mismanagement of Jason.

I don't think Cambell is the long term QB for the Redskins, they drafted Colt last year if they want a new QB they should give him a try. They need to upgrade on o-line first.

I don't see how you expect a quarterback to learn 4 different offenses and have an injured offensive line most of the time. Not to mention enough top receivers and a rookie head coach in his first season and you are expected to be a world beater.
Just think, last season everyone was talking how Campbell improved and no INT's in the first 8 games and the Redskins where 6-2.
I do know if they draft Sanchez , that Jason has requested to be traded. And at this point I do not blame him.

It wouldn't surprise me. It sounds as though Snyder has fallen out of love with Campbell. Hasn't Snyder drafted like 7 QBs in the last 9 drafts? I think Josh Freeman is more of a proven prospect, but it appears Dan has his eye on Sanchez.

NOT GONE AS OF YET, WITH HIS CONTRACT UP THIS YEAR SKINS HAVE TO BE LOOKING LONG TERM WITH A YOUNG QB. ALOT OF BAD FEELINGS RIGHT NOW FACING THE SKINS. IF CAMPBELL STAYS AND BLUNDERS IT WILL BE A VERY LONG YEAR, I CAN SEE IT HAPPENING ,THEN THE CRAP SPREADS AROUND THE LOCKER ROOM,THEN THE BLAME GAME STARTS.I SAY SHIP HIM NOW TAKE A SHOT AT SANCHEZ.
