I think his point was: Yes, he killed dogs. Fine him for doing it. Let him keep making his millions playing football which is a taxable income by the government and then force him to do community service and pay a sum of money to help animal shelters. Only thing he does being in prison is cost taxpayers money.

Watch the video of Sarah Palins interview when she pardoned the turkey at Thanksgiving. There was a guy behind her murdering turkeys. I wonder if he is in jail for that..........nope. Because we eat them.

WTF, does Palin have to do with Vick and dog fighting? Turkeys are raise and killed for food. I have never had a dog for thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. I think their is a big difference between picking a dog up and slamming it to the ground till it's dead, than cutting off a turkeys head. Running a dog fighting ring and even betting on dogs is what Vick got in troub wrote:

You know I disagree! He was prosecuted solely because he was a celebrity. You see people walk with probation all the time for far worse crimes. He could have been punished just as good with public service. Maybe he could have raised money for sum large charity. Maybe that

YANKEESREDSKINSFAN]Vick may stil be able to play when he gets out but at what level. I think it would be a bad PR move for any NFL team to pick him up, he would get booed everywhere he goes. I could see him playing in Canada.

Walton, why send Vick to jail for dog fighting? Are you aware that most serial killers start out by torturing animals?
And btw re: Burress; Why would any sane person go into a club where they feel like they have to carry a concealed weapon to be safe? Most people go to a club to have fun. Unless he considers looking for trouble fun? And if that's the case he's a psychopath and needs to be put away before he shoots someone other than himself.
I don't think we need these kind of people running around on the streets. They are a menace to society. That's why they're in jail!

I think the question here was about Collins who has been a carrier back up and played five good game in a offense that he had been around for ten years. Collins the same QB that tried to test the free agent market and got no offers. DONE

Now to Vick a QB that the Atlanta Falcons were building an offense around him. Put aside the character issues and the lack of being able to stay healthy. Or the receivers not catching the ball or the fact Vick would just run and not try and read the defense and make plays with his arm.

Now if you think that a kid that comes from the hood and has never had a bank account in his life and comes out of college and is given 15 million dollars is ready to leave his home boys behind. You don't know a thing. What have you ever lived in section 8 housing and been around people that have nothing and just live each day to get by without being killed? It is a war zone and this what the mind set is. We are not talking about Labron James here. Someone that who is smart enough to learn how to manage his money and take care of it. No, we are talking about a few fools and the life style that they won't let go of.

Do you really think that these athletes live a normal life. Why would you go to a club with a loaded weapon that is not registered? For protection right? Can't bring a body guard with you, without something going wrong with that right? What can you do when you have money and no common sense? Most of them have had a free ride because they are athletes and can play a game better than you can. Most are not ready for all the fortune and fame that comes along with being a star athlete.

Talk about double standards all you want. Call it a wasted of money to lock them up for breaking the law. What do you know about anything sitting behind a computer. You ain't got the coin to go out and break the law and pay a lawyer to get you off with probation.
