5th best according to who? Sometimes a guy is the right fit for a particular situation. I remember a qb drafted in the 3rd round, not thought very highly of, named Joe Montana. I remember a qb drafted in the 6th round, not thought very highly of, named Tom Brady. Last time I counted, they had 7 super bowl rings between the 2 of them. I remember a guy who was the # 1 pick of the whole league, very highly thought of, named Drew Bledsoe. First he ends up losing his job to that same #6 pick named Brady, and last season he lost his job to a guy who wasnt even drafted, Tony Romo. All 32 teams didnt think Romo was even worth a 7th round pick, and now he's starting for the Cowboys. Andy Reid has a pretty good eye for talent, and believes Kolb was born to play in Marty Morningwhegs offense. That tells me something. I dont put too much stock in these draft gurus ratings, the league is full of 1st round washouts and busts.
Very good point. I agree with you totally. I just think it was a bad pick cause it ticked Donovan off.
On the 7th day, God made the Dallas Cowboys.

No player available to help you guys? How bout Chris Houston? You severly lacking in the corner department (Brown and Shepard are damn good but with Hood gone you have no depth) Given this league and the so many 3 WR sets you could have used some help at corner for depth.
Chris Houston had alot of question marks, and I think they got a steal in CJ Gaddis as long as he plays hard all the time. And Hood had to go, if i was to guess he got called for at least 10 interference penalties last season.

He was the 5th best QB in the draft, so evidentally some people didnt see some stuff in the combine. Andy might know what he's doing, but I just cant see the justification behind that pick. I would have taken Meachum from Tennessee, and made Donovan happy.

Kolb might do just fine. Its not like Brett Favre came out of a major football univ. Maybe Reid and his staff saw somthing in him that we don't.

I agree with you on the Posluzny point, I was sitting there screaming at the TV when they traded instead of drafting him. Then he's still available 2 picks before the Eagles pick and I'm thinking "No way they are gonna pass him up". Then Buffalo trades up and I knew he was gone. I'm not freaking out about the Kolb pick like most people, I do think he would've been available later, but there were no players available that could have helped right away for what they needed. Andy knows QB's, and Donovan is gone after the 2008 season unless he re-structures, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt there. I like Abiamiri, this means McDougle is probably out, and we need another DE if he's gone. I don't know much about Stewart Bradley, but Ray Didinger was saying he could be one of the top sleeper picks in the draft before the Eagles drafted him. And Ray Diddy knows his football. I LOVE Tony Hunt, he is the perfect big back that can run with quickness and catch that this team needs. Gaddis is a great defender who can play both corner and safety (Only CB in the nation to shut out Calvin Johnson), the only bad thing is he doesn't play hard all the time. I'll give them a B- for now.
