LOL I'm sorry my man, I meant Redskins, must of done that because I'm on the Giants board. I really don't think the Eagles are going to the playoffs this year, they can't play a full 4 quarters for some reason, actually a lot of reasons. I think it's going to be Giants vs Steelers in the sb. Defense get's teams there and they both have it.

You write well Mars and I'm not just saying it because you picked the Eagles, lol. I like them also because rookie qb's usually don't fair well against this defense. That and as you said Mcnabb will be playing with a chip on his shoulder. I really like the Jets pick but if Favre throws a couple picks, Titans will win. Are the Dolphins for real? I would love to see them make the playoffs and pull off an upset against the Titans. I think the Titans go down in the first round no matter who they play. My upset pick of the week..... Seattle 24 Giants 20[/quote] Seattle 24 Giants 20?????? lmao we are not even playin them.

TY for the compliment.
If Seattle played the NYGs and Seattle won I'm sure you'd have a good day, but since they play the Redskins and it's not likely to go in favor of the Seahawks, I don't think you'll have much to cheer for about Seattle.
I don't think you're going to get any help in the Division this week. I'm predicting the Cowpokes and the Redskins to win handily. The Eagles have an uphill battle ahead of them, but with one of the best QBs of this decade and a pretty consistent Defense they certainly have a decent chance at taking their own destiny in hand when they play Round 2 against their Division rivals. I don't expect any of the remaining games to be played in Philly to be lost (The Cowduds game will be very likely be won by the Eagles, not because the Cowpunks are a weak team, but because I expect the Eagles to go all freakin out (Playoffs or no Playoffs)... Seriously, as the Cowbums coach, that would be a game on the schedule that I'd flat out dread, because if they qualify for the Playoffs at that point they almost have to concede the loss to preserve their starters, division rivalry or not, and if they're fighting for a Playoff position they'd have to be dreading possibly suffering key injuries in fighting for a win. I know it's a game I'm not going to miss... could even be the game of the year. The three games on the schedule that the Eagles are likely to have the toughest fights over are the game at Baltimore, the game at NY(NJ), and the game at Washington D.C.
The Eagles play tough every week. I don't think they're Superbowl winners this season, but they're good enough to beat anyone on any given week when they play well. I think injuries may play one of the biggest roles in whether or not the Eagles make the Playoffs or not. I like a lot of players on the Eagles and I really hate injuries no matter who they happen to, and I hope the Eagles are able to remain healthy for the rest of the season even though I am most definitely NOT an Eagles fan.

After the anti-climactic Steelers vs. Bengals game, this Sunday (not to mention Mondays game... is it just me or has everyone - pro analysts - stopped talking about the Saints?) is brining us some pretty intense and important games that should be a lot of fun to watch.
1. Eagles vs. Ravens - THE BIRDS ARE COMING! THE BIRDS ARE COMING! What is it with bird names and NFL teams? I mean, when the Browns left Cleveland for Baltimore, couldn't they have chosen something other than a bird? Seriously, this should be one hell of a hard fought game. Both teams have a chip on their respective shoulders after last week's performances. The Ravens will be looking to make up for their embarrassing loss to our favorite men in blue, while the Eagles were embarrassed with a... dare I say it?... a TIE! *Gasp* Actually, I don't think it would have been that embarrassing except that it was against the Bengals, who the Eagles should have beat handily (just as the Giants and Cowpuddles should have), and then there was McNabb's comments about Overtime after the game.... ugh. I can't wait to see which team comes out on top. I still have a bit of a grudge with the Ravens that's deeper than my mild dislike of the Eagles so I'll be cheering for the guys in the green helmets. Besides that, I think McNabb will have a pretty good day and Flacco will not. The Eagles have suffered from poor Special Teams play this season, and the Ravens are not anything special, so it could get wild at times after scores and during Punt Returns. Prediction: Eagles 28 - Ravens 14.
2. Vikings vs. Jaguars - Despite comments made with the intent of harassing pjd, the Vikings do not suck. Peterson is extremely athletic and in as good shape as any RB in the league. He's going to be a factor every week, no matter who the QB is for the Vikings, because his O-line is good at run-blocking and he is outstanding at advancing the ball. The Jaguars are a team with the identity of being a tough team. Even when they lose by 10 like they did last week against the Titans, they make every game look like it's a struggle for the other team. I think they have a great coach, and it's obvious he knows how to get the most out of the talent he has available on the team. These two teams meet up at a crucial point in their seasons. If either the Jags or the Vikings want to remain legitimate contenders for Playoff spots, this is a crucial game. There's a three way tie for the first place position in the NFC North, and the Vikings are the only one of the three teams to be outscored by their opponents for the season. The Jags need to run the table for the rest of the season in order to make the Playoffs, because they aren't winning the Division. They are two games under .500 at 4-6, but they have outscored their opponents for the season. Running the table isn't out of the question for this gutsy team, as they have only two opponents that are currently over .500 for the rest of the season. The Vikings are dynamic and capable of looking outstanding at times, but have lapses and their defense is simply mediocre. The Jags are consistently gritty, but have a difficult time moving the ball at times, and their defense seems to get tired late in games. Both teams have good special teams defense (except the Vikings against Punt Returns... not good). I think Peterson is going to have a good day. Prediction: Vikings 23 - Jaguars 18.
3. Patriots vs. Dolphins - This game has deep rivers flowing through it. That doesn't make much sense? Then you don't know Belichick or Parcells. This game has secret rivalries in it that run so deep; it's like the '80s tv series Dallas. I'm losing you? Well, how about two teams that were supposed to finish this season on opposite ends of the spectrum. Miami wasn't even supposed to be a factor this season (predicted by many to be last in the AFC). NE was picked as the favorite to finish first this season (pro analysts are predictable). That was before Brady went down and the "Wildcat" formation came to Miami. After four weeks into the season it w
