Yah but you got to figure- the Jets are replacing an accurate QB who cant throw 50 yards with a legend who has nearly every statistical passing record there is. besides, Pennington has a chip on his shoulder and is aching to throttle his old team

Have you heard about the new Brett Favre Tribute Jersey????

My hubby just did the website for a company that is doing a Brett Favre Tribute Jersey. Its really neat lookin'. I just got to try one on and fell in love! :);) Its half a Packer jersey/half a Jets jersey ..and of course the legendary #4. They literally just went on sale YESTERDAY. The website is : www.myjetpackjersey.com

Check them out.. they're awesome, and I bet they would make an amazing Christmas present for the Brett Favre fans in your fam! :)

sjearl][hl=yellow]I hope the Jets beat Miami this season and go 0-16[/hl]. I think it was a cowardly act to throw Chad under the bus. They deserve a truely horrible season.

I think the Jets actions were purely PR in nature. I say that for two reasons.
1 - They need a reason for Jet fans to accept their soon to be announced PSL program. With Brett Favre on the team, more Jet fans will accept their PSL fees.

2 - I think the Jets feel like second class citizens as compared to the Giants and want to re-gain the back page of the newspaper and headlines on the internet. Anything to suppress their co-neighbors at Giant stadium.

Brett Favre may get them a few wins, but for the short term only. Almost every article I've read states that the Jets with Brett will not have a record better than 9-7, won't win their division and won't even make the play-offs. I'm hoping for the Brett of old when he had 20 TD's and 30 Int's, not the lucky 2007 season when he came one int short of the Super Bowl.

Good luck to Chad and I'll be rooting for him when he signs on with another team.
