The Lakers got point guards but they got no speed at the PG position .
At the end of the day the Lakers win the NBA finals with those guys so why changed it .

Key Word is Triangle take a look back at all the point gaurds who won championships with P.J.'s triangle not one of the players were allstars or hall of famers. So I think D. Fisher is the one who should keep the lead as point. I know he's not the best out there but he is clutch! and clutch wins rings. and if he wins this next one as the starting point then I think that will be good enough to make him the first hall of fame point gaurd to run the triangle offense. Plus he's one ring up on all the other points who ever ran the point gaurd position for the triangle. Im sorry but I have to go with Fish on this one Homie! He deserves it!

Laker fans will undoubtedly see the same rotation at point next year. I expect to see Farmar (devoid of injury) have an outstanding year. Fish will be as solid as ever... though a year older. And Brown will provide energy and athleticism off the bench at both ends of the court, and his comfort level in the triangle will be enhanced with his experience this year. It may still be the Lakers weakest position next season, but the triangle doesn't require an All-Star guard to win championships.

Lakers don't need a point!

If y'all had been paying attention, you'd realize that Shannon Brown can play both guard spots, he's athletic and strong, he can penetrate, he has excellent court awareness as a PG, he's a dependable shooter from distance, he plays respectable defense, he's young and raw, and most importantly he plays like he's intimidated by no one.

Ron Artest is a solid player if he can keep his emotions in check but I'm really surprised the Lakers didn't try harder to keep the younger Ariza.  What our team really needs now is to resign Odom and find a point guard who is younger and quiker than Fisher and more consitent than Farmer.
