It really doesn't matter what they do...no one cares if they sign Bay and Beckett...they are still a looong way away from winning anything...

So Josh Beckett is meeting with Theo soon to possibly discuss an extension
because hes due to become a FA after next year. Jason Bay is a FA this year.
Any word on these guys? Bay in my mind is going to command a huge salary
as hes probably the best position player coming into FA this year. Yes better than
Holliday (hes put up much better numbers) and Chone Figgins. So anyone
know the plan? I wanna know what were up against next year.
MP ..Beckett has to be inked , He's one of the best pitchers in the game , Bay , I believe is another extremely important signing , He supplies a ton of assests offensively and defensively , the only ones that will attempt to outbid the Sox, are the NY w hores currently playing now, especially if they blow the series..Figgins is a midget-like novelty plug in player, that chokes in the post season , He's an absolute disgrace in when put on the big stage..Holliday can rake..but I'd rather have Bay , He's a much more complete player ...
What are your plans for third base, SS,right field, DH and rotation after the 2 slot? You guys just don't get it yet...the team is on the slide and will need two -three years of tight wad approach just to fill the voids

Bay will be worth about 60 mill and the Sox already offered 15 mill per year. Dont listen to Rich he has water on the brain. He also wears a thong 2X to small.
15 MIL PER..BUT PROBABLY OFFERED 2 YEARS...THATS WHY THEY DON'T GET THEIR MAN...YOU'LL SEE

You're up against the cheapos in the front office...will offer Bay less assuming he will want to stay in Boston, but ultimately will lose out to another team..Giants are in hot pursuet and their owners are not tight wads..
