angelfan69... Your breaking news is nothing but what a BULL leaves in a pasture. Until MLB goes to instant replay, these MISTAKES will continue to happen. I have watched baseball for many years, the fact remains, umpires are human, give them the benifit of instant replay. I wonder if your breaking news is that your angels are down 3-1?

Breaking story... it is now confirmed that the Yankees do indeed have the highest payroll in baseball as Bud Selig has said " we do not pay the umpires as many would think. They are really paid by the Yankees as evident in last nights game." What a shame it is when several calls went against the Angels. First there was the home plate umpire telling the Angel manager that " I can not see the plate because your catcher is blocking my view ", then the 2nd base umpire blew a pick off where even with out the replays shown it was an out. Then the creme de la creme was McClelland, yes the same one from the Yankee/Royals series that said Bretts bat had pine tar too far up on the bat, NOT seeing the play at 3rd when it was CLEAR that Napoli tagged the runner coming from 2nd first then Posada after he was clearly off the bag. I thought I was at a little league game with ALL the bad calls. Bud SElig must be very PROUD of the way the umpires have called the games. The Yankees did not win the game it as given to them AGAIN. Honestly if you were a player and you saw ALL the calls going against you how would it make you feel?
