like i said before, if this is the best other teams have, they have nothing.
their teams have the money. its not the ny yankees fault if they don't want to pay the luxury tax (which the ny yankees do). secondly, if you really want to do something, how about asking your team to spruce up their image and begin a campaign to put your team out there. truth is, you have lousy owners who dont want to do the work nor spend the money. that is the bottom line.

Littlesuzie....
Are you kidding me "go Yanks" all I can say to you and the rest of your Yankee followers is SALARY CAP. If MLB ever gets its act together your precious Yankees will be no more. You can buy up all the best players in the league and assemble an All-star team and be proud??? Get a good scout and bring players up from the minors and win a world series and come talk to me. You need your head examined!!!!
Hey Joe don't bother talking to her. She's a pink hat and has know idea what she's talking about. As far as the salary cap I would love to see it. Make it more fare across the board for all the teams. They never will cause MLB itself loves the Spankmees. It makes you want to puke but it's true.
And the continuing redundancy of the salary cap....

Beauty_1...... Bllllllaaaaaa hhhhaaaaaa hhhhhaaaaaa Red Sox fan. Are you ever off base. I happen to be a Phillies fan. You know, the team without all the high priced allstars. The team that, for the most part, has brought all their players up from within. Oh and trying to play the economy card, well that just shows how ignorant you are. The money it costs to go to Yankmee stadium pretty much ensures the average Joe will never see a game live so dont go ther ewith the economy. That is exactly what is wrong with this country you fool!!!
B Ignorant? Fool? Cmon, I was with you 'till you started the trash talk. Relax. the Phillies will come back. Money is what's wrong with the game, and it's what makes the game great. The Yanks have had the greatest players ever, but that must be expected from the financial center of the world. That's why we hate 'em.
I believe baseball is the greatest game ever! Long Live the Underdog!!!!!! It's Americana.

No, tried long ago but a short minor league stint is all I had. But it's a small community and I worked 20 years of ncaa baseball.
Here in San Diego I've been known to have a beer or two with my ML ump buddies when they are in town.
Funny... but when something unusual happens in a ball game, my phone starts ringing every time. Tonight I got a call from my roomate in baseball from 1978!
Watch. tomorrow Dana (the plate ump)will not miss a pitch. he never does. Nobody works harder. In all my years I've never seen him in a bind. (knock on wood)

JBS...
No offense but my comment was for VodkaB.
Anyway, you sound like a bitter Red Sox fan and I won't waste time chatting with a Red Sox fan. Sorry they didn't make it this year, but time to turn the page. By the way the Yankees are worth 1.5 billion, so spending a little money is good for the economy.
Have a good night!
