I think Waino just about sealed the deal with the Win against the ROX to win the Central Division. Carp had two outstanding no decisions but.....

If Carp would've got the shutout to go to 17-4, he probably wins the CY. Franklin (and LaRussa )cut his throat and I believe the award will go to the media darling Lincecum as a result.

Patch - I don't think so.

Well it's 9/19/09, Carp threw shutout ball through 8 innings, Franklin blew the save, but we won the game in dramatic fashion in the bottom of the ninth. I think Carp needed the Win, but he lowered his ERA to 2.34! I think, Carp is the darkhorse now, with Lincecum and Wainwright to win it or lose it! GO Waino and Carp! Go Cards!

Carp had a bad outing but remember, every pitcher has a loss or two.  Yes he was not perfect or even close to it sunday, but also remember that when Berhle threw his perfect game it took him almost four starts to have a decent game again.  Don't kick when hes down just bless the fastball gods and hope Licecum trips up the rest of the season.  And what about the other competition for the CY Award.  That one guy whats his name, oh yea Wainwright.  I would chose him before Carp this season anyway.  Have they ever had a CO Cy Award winner?
