Marge,,please give it a break,,TLR did bring it to the umps attention about KR and the stuff on his hand,,that's why it wasn't there the next inning,,,if you people hate baseball so much these days quit watching,,I won't miss you and neither will these players,,and I've been with the cardinals since '64,,and I still love the game

I too am glad Pujols is back on target.
MLB is going to butt into every situation or have their umpires do it, until the game is like golf.
Baseball is already a pussified sport, but now MLB is trying to take out one of the few stitches of dignity and street crd these guys have.
It was cheesy as hell for the umpires to look the other way when their guys hit ours, then warn down our pitchers after one of our guys hit theirs.
I did like the way Wright bounced rIght back up. No self pity.
As for suspension, it was the same w. Mr. Pine Tar Hat (Tavares). 10 games for next to nothing. Meanwhile, Kenny "We've Got Tonight" Rogers, has Vaseline and sand paper on his forearm in the NLCS, and NO one says or does any thing.
Including LaRussa.
That G.D. Van Slyke should be banned from our city after his post-game comments on the subject but instead he's still treated like a prodigal.

I just can't believe that MLB would suspend Brad Thompson for supposedly throwing at David Wright.Oh but wait a minute, the"Gutless Wonder" Bud Selig says it has to be.I can't understand why anybody in their right mind would support this decision by such a worthless commish. First of all i'm not a big fan of Brad Thompson;never have been.But anybody who has seen this guy pitch knows he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn anyway;let alone intentionally throw at a guys head.But what really sickens me is that Mr.Candy*** himself,Tony Larussa shows no support of his pitcher.What a joke of a manager. Now in today's game you get Capp's from Pittsburgh nailing Albert in the ribs after Schumaker jack's a HR. What do you want to bet that this clown doesn't get suspended.Gotta give the Pirate's manager credit for supporting his pitcher tho. What amazes me is that MLB hasn't clamped down on this kind of bull****. A guy hits the next batter after the previous batter has just hit a HR should be given an automatic suspension;but very rarely never is. I'll guarantee you Brad Thompson wasn't throwing at David Wrights head;HIS CONTROL ISN'T THAT GOOD.It just pi**es me off that a pitcher can't brush a pitcher off the plate in today's game when he is crowding the plate. Good thing Bob Gibson isn't pitching anymore huh? I'm so sick of these pampered;crybaby;overpaid athletes. It's no wonder i've lost so much love for this game.
