Since the Jays have now had a few games against the real contenders in the AL East it is now clear who are the contenders and who are the pretenders. The Jays must know it too if they are even entertaining the thought of trading their ace. It appears the Sox are the ones to catch and show no signs of slowing down. The Yanks are up and down as are the Rays. The hidden piece to the puzzle is depth. The Rays not only have one of the best Bullpens in the bigs, they have depth on the bench with bats and gloves that could start for almost any major league team. The record between the big 3 puts the Rays on top. If Madden can keep them close untill September, the schedule favors the Rays. No matter what the outcome this is by far the best divison in baseball.
