Well-well, seems the prosecuters in the Barry Bonds, Injustice of a lifetime, case have gone back to square one. Another Grand Jury is going to have to review the CHARGES? against Mr. Bonds. They now have asked for at least, 3 more months to "prepare."

When is enough, enough. Years and years of tring to get this guy have accumulated nothing more than heresay and a couple scorn non eye witnesses. The elevated Testosterone levels widely and grandly reported a couple weeks ago about a supposedly failed test proved highly exagerated and possibly not high after all. Face it, the government never has had a case against Bonds. Want to get him for something, anything?, Yes they have and continue to search, hope, and possibly pray that something concrete, that they can take before a jury, will magically appear before them so they can then save face.

I say and have been saying, it ain't a gonna happen folks. In the mean time here's a guy, ready to playball that can add power to most any team at fair market value, that is being shunned because of the media circus that undoubtably will follow him wherever he gets a chance to earn his paycheck, his living earned fairly at his craft, and swing that mighty bat.

See what i mean about trying to convince somebody?

Why would he admitt something if he truly believed that he didn't do anything wrong?

just like the above person sitting at the bar that someone put drugs in their beer. If that comes up and they have to take a test, should that person, even though they had never done drugs before, now have to say that yes, they took drugs?

By the way, i'm not a Giants fan. I'm a BASEBALL FAN that thinks the best player in the game these last 15 years has been cornholed because he has the nuts to stand up to those that have discredited him.

Your mind has been long made up, i'm not going to change it. Just do me a favor and read the transcripts and pay attention to what comes out in the trial. Try to keep a open mind and see if you don't think different when it's all said and done.

Correction, "anyone with half a brain THINKS FOR HIMSELF"

Hey, that's what you care to believe, fine! But don't be surprised when this all comes out in court.

I should know better than to try to convince anybody of anything over the net. People believe what they want to believe.

You're over the "Bonds Thing" because you want it to be over. Unfortunetly, certain things like the accusations of wrong doing in this case have now progressed so that proof must be brought before a jury.

I myself have 3 different Stetson western hats from my college football days until theses twenty five years later, all increasing in size similar to the increase in head size that Bonds has grown . My shoes have increased from 11d to 13 eee. these are facts and i assure you that no steroids have ever entered my body, knowingly. Proof of what? A book, catagorised as "fiction" to recieve acclaim, proof? Scorned woman, fired associate, proof? Where is the canceled checks, eye witness accounts, testimony of friends and of other players, all the things that they have from Mitchels report on other PED suspects?

Much of what the general public has been led to believe was sensationalized and exagerated, by the press from the beginning. This does not mean that it is true. I'll be glad when this truely is over and expect that it's verdict is not going to be well recieved by those like you who have already judged him to be guilty.

So you're setting at a bar having a beer and when you go to the rest room, someone puts a drug in your beer, for their own reasons, which the next day, you may or may not realize. The next week, your company gives you a annual drug test, and you fail.

At your exit interview, you claim honestly, that to your knowledge, you have never taken drugs...truth or lie?

This is similar in some ways, not in others, to the nitty gritty in Bonds case. He doesn't think Anderson would jepordise their friendship by slipping steroids into the state of the art, proto type, "legal" meds, that he had requested of his long time friend, balco sports-med insider, and paid trainer. But Bonds is not above curiousity in suspecting that indeed, that is what did happen.

When Bonds said that he had not knowingly taken these drugs, he admitts, suspects, or dosen't know for sure, of Andersons methods or intentions.

Similar to above example, So, in this senerio... Is this truth or lie?

I believe it's the truth. Bonds Attorney's are going to make a fool of not only the Government Prosecuters but all those who have slandered and condemed him in the court of public opinion.

He is not accused of having them in his system, they have to prove that he lied about KNOWINGLY taking them. Without Anderson's testimony, from what is plain to be seen in the transcripts, and so consistant with Bonds comments, proving he lied is going to be very tough to prove, indeed!

Too bad Barry wasn't a reporter. Then he could lie all he wanted and be protected by the First Amendment.

tbear1970]After a four-year investigation, Barry Bonds has been indicted on counts of perjury and obstruction of justice. Was this merely a justification for a lengthy witch hunt by the feds or a long-overdue attempt to bring Bonds to justice for his many obfuscations?

Discuss amongst yourselves.

why dont they bonds alone he has been through enough :everybody has done something wrong--thanks- wrote:

What's the big deal about using steroids. Although, I don't use drugs or drink, and consider myself a conversative, I still do not understand why the use of steroids is a big issue. I believe that, if someone really traced the history of sports and sports players, including Babe Ruth, you may find out that some type of enhancement drug has always been used.

Barry Bonds didn't ruin baseball... The media ruined baseball. Everyone wants to hear about someone elses misfortunes or misdeads. However no one ever wants to mention the own flaws. The media has made Bonds, Vick, Canseco, and many others out to be heartless, cruel, money flashing thugs, cheaters, and adulters.
