Once again, the facts of the matter are getting left out. The indictment is for perjury. If he lied, then he is guilty of perjury. And if he is guilty of perjury, then he is guilty, no matter what. After he is found to be guilty of perjruy, then the MLB can step in and do what needs to be done.

However, his career is over, for all intents and purposes. There is no way he will go to trial before the season starts, and then what team in their right mind would sign him. His skills are starting to deteriorate, and he is becoming a shell of himself, and by the time 2009 rolls around, if he is vindicated, I don't think he will be in shape to be usable enough to be relevant.
