He has been ostracized about his alleged use of steroids, I'll agree to that, but he hasn't done anything to his image to help that either.

Once again, the facts of the matter are getting left out. The indictment is for perjury. If he lied, then he is guilty of perjury. And if he is guilty of perjury, then he is guilty, no matter what. After he is found to be guilty of perjruy, then the MLB can step in and do what needs to be done.

However, his career is over, for all intents and purposes. There is no way he will go to trial before the season starts, and then what team in their right mind would sign him. His skills are starting to deteriorate, and he is becoming a shell of himself, and by the time 2009 rolls around, if he is vindicated, I don't think he will be in shape to be usable enough to be relevant. He'll be 45, and there just ain't a big market for 45 year old DHs, who have lost alot of their ability

Once accused never acquitted! He can't use his hands and feet (nailed to a cross) to earn a living (play baseball), he now has to deal with the mental anguish (crown of thorns) of trying to prove his innocence in the legal system and the court of public opinion, all the while his lifeblood is oozing out from a side wound to his spirit. Only G'd can and will save him from this. He claimed to be the King (messiah) of the home run hitters and the non believers deny this and are waiting another messiah more to their liking. Those are the facts and they have nothing to do if he lied about using illegal substances.
