I would say health is going to determine who has the better record between the Giants and Dodgers. Both of these teams have aging veterans and injury proned players they will have to deal with. I guess we will start arguing about who has the better training staff once the 2007 season gets started.

SF & LA Lineups:

1B Aurilia (.300 23HR 70RBI) - Garciaparra (.303 20HR 93RBI)
*I think that Aurilia will split time with Klesko
2B Durham (.293 26HR 93RBI) - Kent (.292 14HR 68RBI)
SS Vizquel (.295 4HR 58RBI 24SB) - Furcal (.300 15HR 63RBI 37SB)
3B Feliz (.244 22HR 98RBI) - Betemit (.263 18HR 53RBI)
C Molina (.284 19HR 57RBI) - Martin (.282 10HR 65RBI)
LF Bonds (.270 26HR 77RBI) - Gonzales (.271 15HR 73RBI)
CF Roberts (.293 2HR 44RBI 49SB) - Pierre (.292 3HR 40RBI 58SB)
RF Winn (.262 11HR 56RBI) - Either (.308 11HR 55RBI)
*If everyone stays healthy, pretty even

SP1 Zito (16-10 3.83ERA) - Schmidt (11-9 3.59ERA)
SP2 Cain (13-12 4.15ERA) - Lowe (16-8 3.63ERA)
SP3 Lowey (7-10 4.74ERA) - Penny (16-9 4.33ERA)
SP4 Morris (10-15 4.90ERA) - Wolf (4-0 5.56ERA)
SP5 ? - ?
*I would say LA has a slight advantage here. They had a team ERA of 4.23 to the Giants' 4.63 last season.

Cl Benitez (17SV) - Saito (24SV)
* We're screwed if Blownitez takes the mound in the 9th. I think (hope) he'll be gone by the end of spring training.

Bullpen & Bench
Sweeney, Klesko, Linden - Loney, Saenz, Martinez (Even)
Wilson, Hennessey, Correia, etc- Beimel, Tomko, Dessens, etc (Even)

Thoughts and comments.
