i will say in defense of towers, he's tried. can't help it if his cheapskate owner ties his hands for drafting. petco park has all the makings of helping a small market team flourish. we don't need the huge mega star that knocks 50hrs a year. all we nned are a bunch of cheap speedy guys who can hit for average, steal bases, play defense. it'd be an exciting brand of baseball.

what also sucks is that we're even considered small market. too many red sox/cubs/yankees fans here. ever been to a game when any of those teams are in town?

PADRES are in a race to meet the "90" game prediction. 90 Losses, maybe 100, what a joke! Why does Black have a job, nice guy, but he's over his head in the worst division in baseball. Why does Towers have a job, way overrated, has he ever tallied a playoff win in his tenure? And Alderson, has done very little with the on field product. Still waiting for the 16 year old Dominicans to bail us out? 3-10 in interleague play, slowest clumsiest team in the Majors, close to the most strikeouts, least walks, least stolen bases, most allowed. . . why are they even charging to see these games. this organization has no pride. Moores has given up on this team like he has his marriage. sad sad days in san diego, Go CHARGERS!!!!

Edgar is still a minor league prospect, what a defensive liability. Giles . . go retire and bleach your hair. He doesn't want a chance to play for a ring with Boston? Giles, you are dead already . . . Bard, my toddler has a better arm, and speed too! Jake is a fine regular season pitcher; but he has yet to win a game of importance (i.e., Playoff game, punk!) And hoffy, nice guy I guess, but he's best known for his multiple big game blown saves than his other meaningless 500 + saves. . .

Bottom Line: THESE LOSERS Stink!!!!!
