Once again the Padres are headed in a downward spiral. Little talent, trying to unlaod Peavy after signing him to a contract that the Pads never had any intention of filling. Giles is returning, what a joke! He's got the loser mentality and I guess he belongs here. Passing up a chance to play for a pennant with the Red Sox last season told us a lot about this perennial LOSER (GILES, that's you!!). Letting Hoffy go is proabably a wise decision, lots of saves, but zero meaningless saves, Anytime Hoffy was on the big stage, he blew it! (See two blowns vs. Brewers, All-Star game, etc..)
