[font=Comic Sans MS]Remember one thing people, the manager shares a lot of blame for the two big losses. Not to mention that Bud doesnt bunt that much but when you bring in Trevor, you have to play the out field way back to the warning track. Yeah, this sound like monday moringin quarter backing but I will touch on this in a few. In the milwakie game when Tony Jr hit that triple of Trevor, that same hit would only have been a double or a long single if the out field was way back on the warning track. Trevor doesnt throw that hard any more so what do you do? Play every one back! We all did it when we all played pick up games growing up, remember? That one big kid that was on the other team, coming up to bat and what did we all do? We played the fence becasue we knew he was going to blast one to the wall. Second, getting back to the rocky game, top of the ninth and brian giles hits a ball over holidays head that was playing in, ties the game. So here is when the padres lost again. Not with Trevor but with Bud lack of regcongition of what the rockys did. Top to the tenth, after holiday got burnt in the out field, all of the rockies out field were playing almost to the warning track. You ask what for? Well in colorado, the ball carries farther than any other park. Just ask Holiday in the top of the ninth with brian giles batting. The rockies made the adjustment and the padres brougth in their best closer but Bud Black failed to move the out field way back, just like the rockies did starting the top of the tenth. All those cappers would have been caugth or they would have been just long singles. You give up the base hit but you dont give up doubles or triples. I think my little league coach told me that when I was a kid. Besides the padres getting cheated at home plate by some 69 year old umpire that should have retired a decade ago and Bud Black failed to recognize the rockies out field adjusment, the padres should be playing the d-backs. PADRES FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
